St Mary's Church across the Village Green from The Great DanesBeachamwell Village

Across Beachamwell's beautiful Village Green from the Great Danes is the pretty, thatched, St. Mary's Church.

The Green itself is quite large and children love the freedom of being able to run around on it. There is also a large children's playground just yards from the Inn.

We are surrounded by superb countryside walks and there is ample room to cycle in safety. Beachamwell is an ideal destination to hide yourself away, yet you are still very close to major towns and roads.

The entire length of Peddar's Way is also suitable for cycling.

The 20 mile Brecks Cycling Discovery circular route encounters attractions such as Cockley Cley Nature Reserve, Oxburgh Hall and Gooderstone Water Gardens. The route even passes through Beachamwell so you can start off from The Great Danes! And there's also a 10 mile short cut, if you fancy that....
